So the artist claims have been up for three days now, and we still have two more unclaimed stories. Come on, people! Get these stories claimed so that we can move on to the next phase!

After all the stories are claimed, I'm going to open another claiming post to gauge interest in some "art collaboration" where two (or more) artists can work on the same story. We've got more artists than authors now, so there's a chance that more than one artist would like to do a collab. It would make the author happy too, ya know. ;)

BUT, in the case that you (artists) are NOT able to claim anything, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP so that we can move on and not wait for your participation!

GOOD NEWS GUYS!!! We have FIVE submitted stories and SEVEN artists! *FLAIL*

So, the artist claiming will be up once I receive a reply from one of the authors. The claiming will be anonymous, like how most bigbangs do it. This is to ensure that the artists do not claim by the popularity of the author, but by the summary.

Due to the delay in the submission of summaries and artist claiming, the deadline for finished works will be extended to October 10th. We'll worry about the posting date later.

Should anything happen during artist claiming, like artists backing out or summaries going unclaimed or whatsoever, it will have to be extended again.

Because of this, I will have to extend the due date for final works.

SO GAIZ. It's finally time for the Mandatory Checkpoint + Summary Submission!

What you're going to do is simple: just e-mail me (st.harridan@yahoo.com) the summary to your fic and once I've gathered everyone's summaries, I will post them up ASAP for artist claiming.

We will go by EST, so if I seem to be posting stuff a little earlier, don't worry! I'm just living where the time is exactly twelve hours earlier than EST.

I hope to have the summary submission done ASAP so that I can have artist claiming tomorrow on 1st of September.

Also, by submitting your summary, you are also doing the mandatory check-in, so don't miss out! If I don't get your summary by September 1st, I will have to hunt you down. :O

It does NOT matter whether or not your fic is done. Just as long as you're confident that you are going to and are capable of finishing it before the due date which is on October 1st.

Okay, so it's already early August. Hope everyone's getting those words out! Vomit them out if you have to, for the fics are due on 30th September.

This is our OPTIONAL CHECKPOINT, therefore, it's not mandatory for writers to check in. (It would be good though, so that the mods will know that none of you have dropped out without notice.)

This third check-in is a little different, since we're calling for rough drafts to be due. No polls, for one.
